Mamie Gummer, born Mary Willa Gummer on August 3, 1983, is an accomplished American actress. She's most notably known for her starring roles in The CW series Emily Owens, M.D. (2012–2013), The Good Wife (2010–2015), its spin-off The Good Fight (2018), and other successful films like Evening (2007), Side Effects (2013), Cake (2014), and Ricki and the Flash (2015). Gummer captured the spotlight when she was nominated for the 2016 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Play for the original production of Ugly Lies the Bone. She is the eldest daughter of the legendary actress Meryl Streep and sculptor Don Gummer.

Gummer's career started when she was just a toddler, appearing in the film Heartburn with her mother, however, her main acting career started in 2005. Some of her accolades include a Theatre World Award in 2006 for her performance in Mr. Marmalade and a Lucille Lortel Award nomination in 2007 for The Water's Edge. Gummer went on to deliver a slew of well-received performances in both film and television, showcasing her range and talent. Her most recent work include the third season of HBO's anthology drama True Detective and Amazon series The Collection where she played a regular role. In her personal life, after marrying and separating from actor Benjamin Walker, she is currently married to writer Mehar Sethi, with whom she has two children.
