Since then, she has worked in numerous movies including 'The Goonies', 'The Mosquito Coast', 'Shy People', 'Running on Empty', 'Parenthood', 'Samantha', 'Small Town Murder Songs', 'Frozen II', and 'Mass'. Martha not only graced the silver screen but also demonstrated her remarkable acting skills in Broadway theatre productions like 'The Coast of Utopia', 'Shining City', 'Top Girls', and 'Pal Joey'. She is also known for her appearance in the Fox sitcom 'Raising Hope', which earned her a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and other numerous accolades. Martha was born to actors Keith Carradine and Shelley Plimpton. She stepped into theatre at an early age.
