Matthew William Goode, born on April 3, 1978, is a notable actor hailing from England. He started his screen career in the 2002 ABC television film Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister. His breakthrough role arrived in the romantic comedy Chasing Liberty in 2004, which landed him a Teen Choice Awards nomination for Choice Breakout Movie Star - Male. Over the years, Goode has graced a variety of films with supporting roles, some notable ones being Match Point (2005), Imagine Me and You (2006), and Copying Beethoven (2006). His performances in the film adaptation of Brideshead Revisited in 2008 and the 2009 superhero film Watchmen garnered him immense praise.
