Peter Dobson, born July 19, 1964, is an American actor whose film roles include a variety of notable works. He has appeared in Sing (1989), Last Exit to Brooklyn (1989), The Marrying Man (1991), The Frighteners (1996), and Drowning Mona (2000). Furthermore, he made a significant cameo as Elvis Presley in the popular film Forrest Gump (1994). His television credits are just as notable, starring as the title character in the CBS comedy Johnny Bago (1993) and the lead of the USA Network comedy-drama Cover Me (2000–2001). Dobson hails from Red Bank, New Jersey, born to an activist mother and a contractor father, and grew up in Middletown Township. His acting career stretches from 1986 to present. As of 2015, Dobson has been in talks to make his directorial debut with the film Exit 102: Asbury Park, showing his continuous passion for the industry.
