Sandra Annette Bullock is an acclaimed American actress and film producer, recognized for her numerous roles in blockbuster films over the years. Bullock was born on July 26, 1964, in Arlington County, Virginia. She started her acting career with a minor role in the thriller Hangmen in 1987. Her breakthrough came in the action thriller Speed in 1994 which led to leading roles in a variety of genres, including romantic comedies, dramas, and thrillers. Some of her successful films include Miss Congeniality (2000), The Proposal (2009), The Heat (2013), and Gravity (2013).

Moreover, Bullock has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
