Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar (née Gellar), born April 14, 1977, is an American actress with an expansive career starting from the tender age of six. She was first discovered by a talent agent in New York and made her film debut through the 1983 television film An Invasion of Privacy. Her breakthrough took place when she assumed the role of Kendall Hart in ABC's soap opera All My Children (1993-1995), earning her a Daytime Emmy Award. In the next phase of her career, she featured in the international hit TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003), which earned her a Saturn Award and nominations for a Golden Globe and TCA Award.

Gellar's films have amassed over US$570 million globally, with illustrious credits such as I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), Cruel Intentions (1999), and The Grudge (2004). Outside of film, her work includes notable roles in The CW's Ringer (2011-2012), CBS's The Crazy Ones (2013-2014) and Paramount+'s Wolf Pack (2023). In 2015, she co-founded Foodstirs, a baking company and released her own cookbook, Stirring Up Fun with Food, in 2017. Gellar was born in New York City and was raised mostly by her mother after her parents divorced when she was seven. She graduated from the Professional Children's School in 1994.
