Sophie Rundle

Sophie Rundle (born 21 April 1988) is an English actress renowned for her versatility across television, film, and stage. Raised in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, she grew up with two brothers and attended Bournemouth School for Girls before honing her craft at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating with a BA in Acting in 2008. Rundle’s breakout screen appearance came with the horror‑comedy Small Town Folk (2007), and she quickly established herself in high‑profile projects such as the ITV miniseries Titanic (2012) and the critically acclaimed film Great Expectations (2012). She gained widespread recognition portraying Ada Thorne in the gritty BBC Two crime drama Peaky Blinders, where she mastered the rarely heard Brummie accent, and as Lucy in the period‑mystery series The Bletchley Circle. Her film credits include the sci‑fi thriller The Midnight Sky and the title role in the Netflix drama Rose (2022).
