**Sveva Alviti**, an Italian actress and former model, was born on July 14, 1984, in Rome, Italy. She got her start in the world of fashion, securing second place in the 2001 Model Elite Look fashion contest in Italy. She then moved to New York, where she studied acting while continuing her work as a model. During her modelling career, she lived in various locations, including Singapore, Argentina, Thailand, and Hong Kong. In a significant shift towards acting, Sveva stated in an interview that she doesn't do modeling anymore and is now more focused on celebrity shoots for promotional purposes. Sveva made her acting debut in 2012, appearing in the film 'AmeriQua'. She continued to appear in Italian-language films, such as 'Niente può fermarci' and 'Out of the Blue', and played the lead role in 2014's 'Cam Girl'. Her breakthrough role came in 2017 when she was cast in the French-language biographical film 'Dalida', directed by Lisa Azuelos. Despite not knowing French at the time, she prepared for her role through intensive six-hour French lessons daily and successfully learned the language in just six months. Her performance in 'Dalida' earned her critical accolades. Sveva also hosted the 81st Venice International Film Festival in 2024.
