Sylvia Webster Jefferies, born on August 14, 1969, is a talented American actress, best known for her compelling portrayal of Jolene Barnes in the ABC drama series Nashville. Born and raised in Greenwood, South Carolina, Sylvia is the daughter of James Jefferies, a respected lawyer and former mayor of Greenwood, and Polly Jefferies, a devoted retired emergency room nurse. Sylvia's artistry goes beyond acting, showing a wider range of talent formed and refined by her education at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts based in New York. Over the years, Sylvia has showcased her talent not only through screen roles but also in stage productions and television commercials, solidifying her position in the industry. Sylvia enjoyed recognition for her portrayal of Tracy in the critically acclaimed HBO comedy series Eastbound & Down that aired between 2009 and 2010.
