Thibault Vinçon

Thibault Vinçon (born 15 July 1976 in Paris, France) is a distinguished French actor known for his versatile performances across film, television and stage. After completing his secondary education, he enrolled at the prestigious French National Academy of Dramatic Arts (CNSAD) in Paris, where he honed his craft under the guidance of renowned theater professors. His early stage work quickly attracted attention, leading to notable performances at prominent venues such as the Théâtre des Célestins, the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord and the Opéra de Lyon, where he tackled classical repertoire like Le Bourgeois gentilhomme and contemporary pieces such as Lorenzaccio. Vinçon made his screen debut in the early 2000s, appearing in an episode of the popular TV series Joséphine, ange gardien (2002) before securing his first major film role in Rodolphe Marconi’s Le Dernier Jour (2004). The breakthrough came with Emmanuel Bourdieu’s Les Amitiés maléfiques (2006), a performance that earned him the Étoile d’or de la révélation masculine, establishing him as one of France’s most promising male talents. Throughout the following decade he collaborated repeatedly with directors like Mikhaël Hers, appearing in Memory Lane (2010) and Ce sentiment de l’été (2016), and with Raoul Peck on the political drama Meurtre à Pacot (2014). His television work includes the miniseries L’École du pouvoir (2009) and the historical TV movie Drumont, histoire d’un antisémite français (2013). On stage he continued to impress, starring in Richard Brunel’s productions of Roberto Zucco (2016) and revisiting Molière’s Le Bourgeois gentilhomme in a celebrated revival that ran from 2016 to 2017.
