Victor Rasuk, born on January 15, 1985, is a renowned American actor. Rasuk spent his formative years in New York City, being the son of Dominican parents. His mother pursued a career as a seamstress, whereas his father worked in an auto shop. Rasuk shares a close bond with his brother, actor Silvestre Rasuk, with whom he starred in the film Raising Victor Vargas. He discovered his passion for acting at a young age and began his acting journey when he was just 14, having attended a performing arts school as a teenager. Notably, Rasuk first attracted attention after his outstanding performance in Five Feet High and Rising directed by Peter Sollett. This success led him to a more significant role in the feature-length film, Raising Victor Vargas, based on the prior mentioned short film. His performance in the film earned him a nomination for Best Debut Performance at the 19th Independent Spirit Awards. In subsequent years, Rasuk starred in Rock Steady, as Roc, and Haven, in a leading role. Moreover, Rasuk portrayed the skateboarder Tony Alva in the 2005 biographical drama film Lords of Dogtown. Gaining more respect within the film industry, he took on more serious roles such as Detective Ben Caldwell in the CBS drama series Stalker (2014-2015) and as the male lead, Daniel Garcia, in the ABC series The Baker and the Beauty in 2020.
