Virginie Efira

Born on 5 May 1977 in the Brugmann district of Brussels, Belgium, **Virginie Efira** is a renowned Belgian-French actress who has won the admiration of audiences and critics alike. Emanating Greek-Jewish ancestry, Efira was first hired to present a children's show called *Mégamix* by Club RTL, gradually becoming one of Belgium's popular television figures. She voiced in several animation movies and guest-starred in a popular French show, *Kaamelott*, before moving into the film industry. Rising to prominence with her very first romantic comedy, *It Boy (2013)*, Efira went on to impress the critics with her performances, garnering a César Award nomination and a Magritte Award for *In Bed with Victoria (2016)*. She also won the César Award for *Paris Memories (2022)*. On a personal note, Efira is known for her long-term relationships and is the proud mother of two children. Shifting to Paris at age 28, Efira began to take on more significant roles in the film industry. She became known for her diverse acting skills, taking on various roles from comedy to drama and thrillers. Efira displayed her dramatic acting skills in Paul Verhoeven's psychological thriller *Elle (2016)*, *An Impossible Love (2018)*, and stunned everyone with her superb performance in the black comedy, *Bye Bye Morons (2020)*.
