Vivien Lyra Blair

Vivien Lyra Blair is an American child actress who made her acting debut in 2017. Her breakthrough role was in the movie Bird Box (2018) where she played the role of Girl. Blair earned further recognition for her performances in the video game Telling Lies (2019) and the superhero film We Can Be Heroes (2020). In 2022, she was acknowledged critically for portraying Leia Organa in the streaming series Obi-Wan Kenobi. She had a supporting role in the horror film The Boogeyman (2023). Born in June 4, 2012 to musician parents, she has been a vegetarian since birth and has mastered Taekwondo since she was five. In 2019, at six years old, Blair became the youngest spokesperson for PETA, displaying her commitment towards animal rights from an early age. After her initial breakthrough role in Bird Box, Blair went ahead to star in the video game Telling Lies, her performance being credited as "an unexpected joy" and "adorable confidence". Blair also starred as Guppy in the superhero film We Can Be Heroes, where she demonstrated her versatile acting capabilities. She participated in her own stunts in the film which led the The Daily Telegraph to describe her performance as "very funny" and "just absurd". Her subsequent performances, particularly her role as Leia Organa in the Star Wars streaming show Obi-Wan Kenobi, earned her critical acclaim. The character required an actor that could embody a young Carrie Fisher's spirit which Blair was able to deliver effortlessly. Despite the mixed reviews of her performance from critics, Blair gained a nomination for a Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor in a Streaming Television Series. Blair then went on to star in the film drama Dear Zoe and joined the cast of the horror film The Boogeyman.
