Walton Sanders Goggins Jr., born on November 10, 1971, is a celebrated American actor, who has starred in numerous notable television series and films. Goggins first broke onto the TV scene with The Shield (2002–2008) and later gained fame for his roles in Justified (2010–2015), Vice Principals (2016–2017), The Righteous Gemstones (2019–present), and more recently, Invincible (2021–present) and Fallout (2024–present). The talented actor has been nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards for 'Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series' for Justified, and for 'Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series' for Fallout. His film prowess also extends to successful productions like Predators (2010), Lincoln, Django Unchained (both 2012), The Hateful Eight (2015), and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). He also co-produced the Academy Award-winning short film The Accountant (2001). In his early years, he worked various jobs in LA from valet parking to restaurant service. His acting career kick-started in Georgia, where met Ray McKinnon filming Murder in Mississippi, and played significant roles in acclaimed series like The Shield. Goggins' range as an actor further extends to unique portrayals like his role as a transgender prostitute in Sons of Anarchy.
Apart from his acting career, Goggins displays talents in other areas as well. In 2001, he married Canadian resident Leanne Kaun, who passed away in 2004. Later in August 2011, he married filmmaker Nadia Conners and they have a son together. Goggins is also known for his photography, having showcased his works through a blog during his travels across India. He is actively contributing to various nonprofit organizations with a focus on environmental and humanitarian issues. Furthermore, he is a partner in the spirits company, Mulholland Distilling.
