Zoe Lister-Jones, born on September 1, 1982 is an American actress, director, producer, and screenwriter with a career that spans from 2004 to present. Lister-Jones co-starred as Jen Collins Short in the CBS sitcom Life in Pieces from 2015 to 2019 and is also recognized for her roles in television shows like Delocated (2009–2010), Whitney (2011–2013), and New Girl (2015). In 2017, she made her directorial debut in the comedy-drama film Band Aid followed by the horror film The Craft: Legacy in 2020, that she both wrote and directed. She also has stage experience with credits like Seminar, The Little Dog Laughed and The New Group's The Accomplices.

Lister-Jones was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, and she graduated with honors from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. Her first solo CD titled Skip the Kiss had music arranged by Kyle Forester who composed the score for one of her independent films Breaking Upwards. Lister-Jones has starred in multiple New York theater productions, various independent films, and has appeared in multiple acclaimed television series. In 2022 she announced her involvement in the comedy series Slip that she wrote, directed, and starred in. The series was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards the following year.
