**Charles Russell**, known professionally as **Chuck Russell**, is a highly regarded figure in the film industry, best known for his works in the genre films. Following this, Russell wrote and directed the cult horror film, _The Blob_ in 1988 proving his abilities in maximizing visual effects on a limited budget.
