Philip Barantini is a British actor, director, producer and screenwriter whose career has spanned more than two decades, beginning with television roles in the late 1990s and evolving into a celebrated auteur of one‑shot cinema. Born on 13 July 1980 in Liverpool and raised in Huyton, Merseyside, he first gained public attention portraying Sergeant Wayne A. “Skinny” Sisk in HBO’s acclaimed miniseries Band of Brothers (2001), and later appeared as Billy O’Neill in the long‑running series Dream Team (1998‑2000). His film work includes roles such as Steve Hart in Ned Kelly (2003), Joey in The Escapist (2002), and more recent parts like Bezpalov in Chernobyl (2019) and Steve in The Responder (2022), showcasing a versatile range across drama and action.
