Alexander Scheer

Alexander Scheer, born on June 1, 1976 in East Berlin, is a multitalented German actor and musician. He has carved his space in the German film and theatre industry, bagging several national awards for his compelling performances. He is credited with winning the German Film Award for 'Best Actor in a Leading Role' as well as the Bavarian Film Award for 'Best Actor', both in 2019. In addition to his acting prowess, Scheer is an accomplished musician, playing piano and drums in various bands. Beyond academic settings, he made his entry to theatre at the Schauspiel Bochum theater where he showcased his talent in a range of plays such as 'Much Ado About Nothing', 'Leonce and Lena', and 'The Tempest'.
