**Betty Gilpin**, born as Elizabeth Folan Gilpin, is a renowned American actress best known for playing Debbie 'Liberty Belle' Eagan in the Netflix hit comedy series GLOW (2017–2019) for which she proudly received three Primetime Emmy Awards nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She garnered widespread recognition for her performance as Dr. Carrie Roman in the Showtime comedy-drama series Nurse Jackie (2013–2015). In a more recent milestone, she tackled a lead role in the 2023 Peacock science fiction series Mrs. Davis, portraying a nun battling against AI. Gilpin's acting prowess extends onto the big screen where she has played parts in various films such as the mystery thriller True Story (2015), the science fiction romantic comedy Future '38 (2017), the fantasy romantic comedy Isn't It Romantic (2019), the drama A Dog's Journey (2019), and the action comedy Stuber (2019).
