Blake Anderson

Blake Raymond Anderson, born on March 2, 1984, is a multi-talented American actor, comedian, producer, screenwriter, and fashion designer. Anderson initiated his creative journey in acting and comedy in 2006 by forming the sketch-comedy troupe, Mail Order Comedy. This troupe was responsible for producing numerous online videos and sketches, featuring the rap band The Wizards. His fellow troupe members included Anders Holm, Adam DeVine, and Kyle Newacheck, all of whom will feature heavily in his career. In a significant career leap in 2011, Anderson, along with Holm, DeVine, and Newacheck, began starring as fictional versions of themselves in the popular Comedy Central television series Workaholics, a show which Anderson co-created. This show became incredibly popular, running for seven seasons until 2017. Over time, Anderson has successfully made several appearances in other film and television works, often collaborating with his Mail Order Comedy troupe members. In 2017, Anderson earned two nominations for the Behind the Voice Actors People's Choice Voice Acting Awards for his work on Voltron: Legendary Defender, winning Best Vocal Ensemble in a New Television Series. He received a Young Hollywood Award nomination in 2014. He has also remained active in the fashion industry, co-creating the fashion line 'Teenage' with his then-wife, Rachael Finley, in 2013. Beyond the screen, he often tours the country delivering his stand-up comedy to fans. On a personal note, Anderson experienced a severe accident in 2011, requiring surgery after fracturing his spine during a house party. Despite the setbacks, Anderson's consistent involvement and creativity in various fields have made him a recognized and respected figure in the industry.
