Caren Pistorius

Caren Pistorius, born on 30th September 1990, is a New Zealander actress recognized for her excellent performance in the 2015 film Slow West. She was born in Rustenburg, South Africa, and migrated with her family to Auckland, New Zealand at the age of 12 years. Pistorius took drama classes in school and later pursued further studies at the Auckland University of Technology. She proceeded to commence her professional acting career at the tender age of 19, making her television debut in the American television series Legend of the Seeker. Here she played the character, Luna, and gained appreciation for her talent. Pistorius also played roles in romantic drama films like The Most Fun You Can Have Dying depicting the character, Chloe, and in comedy series Hounds

In 2013, Pistorius appeared as Rose Harper in the crime drama series The Blue Rose and played Beth Ridgeway in miniseries Paper Giants: Magazine Wars. She also executed the supporting role of Eloise Ward in comedy-drama series Offspring. Notably, she co-starred with known actors like Kodi Smit-McPhee, Michael Fassbender, and Ben Mendelsohn in the Western film *Slow West. Later, in 2016, she successfully secured a role in the romantic drama film The Light Between Oceans and in biographical film Denial. Her recent exploits include starring in action thriller film Unhinged and the psychological thriller film The Marsh King's Daughter.
