She enjoys a distinguished career, having received two Goya Awards and a European Film Award for her performances. Roth distinguished herself as an 'Almodóvar girl,' frequently appearing in the films of celebrated Spanish director, Pedro Almodóvar. She was also known as the muse of Fito Páez during the 1990s.
