Christian Brassington, an English actor and writer, is famously recognised for his portrayal of the feared vicar, Ossie Whitworth, in the third and fourth series of the renowned BBC hit period drama, Poldark. Notably, Brassington's versatility as an actor is highlighted by his performances depicting young historical figures such as Boris Johnson in the More4 documentary drama When Boris Met Dave (2009), and Tony Blair for Channel 4 in 2006. He first appeared on screens in the BBC's police procedural drama The Cops in 1999 and soon received his big break, post-graduation, in Tony Blair: Rock Star (2006).
