David Clennon

**David Clennon** (born May 10, 1943) is an acclaimed American actor. Recognized prominently for his portrayal of Miles Drentell in the ABC series 'thirtysomething' and 'Once and Again', and his noteworthy role as Palmer in the John Carpenter film 'The Thing', Clennon's contribution to the film industry is undeniable. He has been a constant presence in films directed by Hal Ashby, Costa-Gavras, and Jordan Walker-Pearlman, crafting memorable performances each time. Clennon was born in Waukegan, Illinois, and is the son of Virginia, a homemaker, and Cecil Clennon, an accountant. His educational journey led him to the University of Notre Dame and then to the Yale School of Drama, where he also became a professional acting member.
