He made his big break with Seven in 1995 and has since directed critically acclaimed movies like Fight Club, Zodiac, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

In television, Fincher has made quite a splash as an executive producer and director, specifically for the Netflix series House of Cards and Mindhunter. He won the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for the pilot episode of House of Cards.
