Finn Jones, born as Terence Jones on 24th March 1988, is renowned as an English actor famous for his portrayal of Loras Tyrell in HBO's series Game of Thrones (2011–2016), and Danny Rand / Iron Fist in Netflix's Iron Fist (2017–2018), The Defenders (2017), and Luke Cage (2018), all forming a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jones honed his acting skills at the Arts Educational Schools on a three-year acting course. Prior to this, he was a Sixth Form student at Hayes School in Bromley. His career embodies numerous commendable roles, beginning in 2009 when he played Jamie, a love interest of Hannah Ashworth in the second series of Hollyoaks Later. Following this, his career rapidly ascended, marked by roles in the 11th series of Doctors, The Bill, and the online drama The Curfew commissioned by Channel 4. He also graced the Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures as Santiago Jones. In 2010, Jones was announced to join the cast of Game of Thrones, based on George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novel series, where he emerged as Ser Loras Tyrell. Furthermore, he also starred in minor roles like a horror film Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines in 2012, two films in 2014, including Sleeping Beauty and The Last Showing.
