Grace Zabriskie, born as Grace Caplinger on May 17, 1941, is an accomplished American actress, best known for her roles as Sarah Palmer in Twin Peaks and Lois Henrickson in Big Love. She also appeared in prominent films such as Wild at Heart, Inland Empire, Norma Rae, An Officer and a Gentleman, and The Grudge, to name a few. Grace's other significant roles include her recurring appearances on popular shows like Seinfeld, Charmed, and Ray Donovan. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was part of a family with distant Polish and Dutch ancestry, and her family home hosted great writers like Tennessee Williams, Gore Vidal, and Truman Capote. In the early 1960s, Grace was part of Kerry Thornley's circle of friends in New Orleans, sparking a friendship that bordered on a relationship.
