Graham McTavish is a Scottish actor and author, renowned for his roles in renowned film trilogy "The Hobbit", AMC series "Preacher", Starz series "Outlander", and HBO series "House of the Dragon". He is also popular for his roles in the video game franchise Uncharted. McTavish entered the industry in 1986, beginning with theatre work in London's West End and Dundee Rep. His first professional role on television was in Disney's mini-series "Return to Treasure Island". He has lived in various places and now settled in New Zealand, and he constantly incorporated elements of his personal life into his work, which has allowed his career to be filled with a wide variety of roles.

McTavish was first married to Gwen Isaac and later married Garance Doré in 2023.
