**Grégoire Colin**, born on 25 July 1975, is a veteran French actor and filmmaker. His acting career started at the tender age of 12 on the French stage. He first caught the spotlight in Agnieszka Holland's psychological family drama Olivier, Olivier in 1992 when he was just 17 and since then, he has shared silver screen in multiple high-profile films such as Adela (2000), Beau travail (1999), and the Macedonian film Before the Rain (1994). Colin has been steadily active in the film industry since 1990 and is currently set for the lead role in the French thriller film Proie. Not only did he act but he showcased his talent in diverse fields. In 1998, Colin appeared in the internationally renowned film La Vie Rêvée Des Anges, which is widely known to international audiences as The Dreamlife of Angels, where he brilliantly portrayed the character of a ruthless club owner. His vast career includes a crown accomplishment of being awarded the Best Actor at the Locarno International Film Festival for his role in the film Nénette et Boni. In 2009, Colin ventured into a new territory of filmmaking when his first short film La Baie Du Renard was screened at the Cannes Film Festival and he also started his own production company Tsilaosa Films. He continues to enrich the film industry with his remarkable performances and contributions to filmmaking.
