Hayley Atwell

Hayley Elizabeth Atwell (born 5 April 1982) is a British and American actress renowned for her versatile roles across various sectors of acting. She made her professional stage debut in 2005 and rapidly gained popularity through her performance in various West End productions and period dramas like 'Brideshead Revisited' (2008), 'The Duchess' (2008), and 'The Pillars of the Earth' (2010), earning nominations for a British Independent Film Award and a Golden Globe Award.

Atwell skyrocketed to global fame through her portrayal of Agent Peggy Carter in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films, starting with 'Captain America: The First Avenger' (2011).
