Isla Lang Fisher, popularly known as Isla Fisher, is an accomplished Australian actress. She was born in Oman to Scottish parents who later moved with her to Australia during her childhood. Fisher kickstarted her acting career with television commercials, eventually gaining prominence for her role of Shannon Reed on the Australian soap opera Home and Away (1994–1997), which earned her two Logie Award nominations. She broke into Hollywood by playing a support role in Scooby-Doo (2002) and has since delivered memorable performances in movies such as Wedding Crashers (2005), Wedding Daze (2006), Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009), and The Great Gatsby (2013) among others.

Fisher also has notable credits in animated films for her voice roles, including Horton Hears a Who! (2008), Rango (2011), and Rise of the Guardians (2012). Apart from acting, Fisher has displayed her literary talents by authoring two young adult novels and the Marge in Charge book series. From 2010 to 2024, she was married to the English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, and they have three children together.
