Jake Weber

Jake T. Weber, born 12 March 1963, is an English actor renowned for his roles in various films and television series. He gained recognition for his performances as Michael in Dawn of the Dead and as Drew in Meet Joe Black. Weber's television credentials are equally impressive, carrying a key role as Joe DuBois, the husband of psychic Allison DuBois, on the critically acclaimed drama series Medium. Throughout 2001 and 2002, he was a regular fixture on HBO's The Mind of the Married Man, while also appearing in Law & Order: Criminal Intent and NYPD Blue. Recently, he played significant roles in series like Hell on Wheels, NCIS: Hawaii, and Homeland.

Weber was born into a wealthy family in London, England, with a diverse lineage of Danish, English, and Moroccan-Jewish descent. Tragically, his mother passed away due to drug overdose when he was eight years old and his father, a drug trafficker, involved him in illegal activities from a young age. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Weber carved out a successful career in entertainment. Weber attended Middlebury College in Vermont, majoring in English literature and political science, and later joined The Juilliard School's Drama Division. Notably, he was part of the launching of the documentary Stones in Exile at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival where Mick Jagger humorously recalled Weber rolling marijuana joints for The Rolling Stones at the age of eight.
