**James LeGros** (/ləˈɡroʊ/) (born April 27, 1962) is a renowned American actor. Known for his versatility, he has had a diverse career spanning several genres and formats. He was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male for his performance in the film '*Living in Oblivion*'. With a career starting in 1984, LeGros gained prominence starring in Gus Van Sant's film '*Drugstore Cowboy*'. He portrayed the character Chad Palomino, an acting divo with relentless 'A-list' star demands in a 'B-movie' mise-en-scene, in '*Living in Oblivion*'. Following that, he delivered a gripping performance in the 1991 action-adventure film '*Point Break*' as a bank robber, Roach, opposite Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. He appeared on notable TV shows such as Showtime's '*Sleeper Cell*' as Special Agent Ray Fuller and '*Law & Order*'. He was a cast member on the television series '*Ally McBeal*' and had guest appearances on shows like '*Roseanne*', '*Punky Brewster*', '*The Outer Limits*', and '*Friends*'. He also portrayed Dr. Dan Harris on the NBC series '*Mercy*' and Peter Gray in the Dark Sky thriller '*Bitter Feast*'.
