Jeremy Lee Renner (born January 7, 1971) is an American actor renowned for various roles in acclaimed films and series. He began his acting career with independent films such as Dahmer (2002) and Neo Ned (2005), later gaining recognition for his roles in bigger films like S.W.A.T. (2003) and 28 Weeks Later (2007). Renner achieved Academy Award nominations for his performances in The Hurt Locker (2009) as a soldier and in The Town (2010) as a hot-headed robber. Known also for his successful portrayal of Clint Barton / Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor has showcased his skills in a variety of genres, including action, drama, and thrillers. Regardless of the medium, be it on the big screen or the recent Disney+ miniseries 'Hawkeye', Renner has made his mark.
