Joshua Colley

Joshua Robert Colley, an American actor and singer, was born on January 20, 2002, to Brad and Robbie Lynn Colley, and grew up in Trinity, Florida. He has a twin brother named Cameron. Colley entered the world of performing arts in 2012 when he began his acting and singing career. His breakthrough role was Les in the musical Newsies where he performed from March 11, 2013, until February 2, 2014. Following this role, Colley played Gavroche in the Broadway revival of Les Misérables, sharing the role with Gaten Matarazzo, and impressing the critics with his grounded and believable performance. Among his roles in the performing arts, he also lent his voice to the character of Pig Robinson in the animated television show Peter Rabbit, airing on the Nick Jr. Channel from 2014 to 2015. Moreover, Colley played the lead role in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the York Theater Company from May 24, 2016, to June 26, 2016, and even featured in the cast album released in the same year. He also impressively executed the role of Flounder in The Little Mermaid at the Hollywood Bowl and appeared in Hulu's Sex Appeal as well as the comedy film Senior Year in 2021. He made significant contributions to the final season of the series Love, Victor and the first season of the Netflix series Dead Boy Detectives. In 2024, he featured in the Disney+ film Descendants: The Rise of Red as a teen version of Captain Hook. In a 2022 ABC News primetime documentary special about the LGBTQ+ experience, Colley publicly discussed his sexuality for the first time but chose not to label it.
