When Mal, Evie, Jay, and Ben embark on a journey to foster harmony with distant realms, Uma, portrayed by China Anne McClain, takes on the role of principal. In this new leadership position, she extends an invitation to Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, to join Auradon Prep in the next academic year. Surprisingly, Red’s mother agrees, despite her daughter’s struggle to embody the queenly persona her mother desires.

Upon arriving at Auradon, the Queen of Hearts initiates a coup, seizing control of Auradon and declaring herself its new ruler. Her childhood friend, Cinderella, played by Brandy Norwood, urges her to halt this madness, yet the Queen commands Red to carry out a shocking act: the execution of Cinderella. Faced with the dilemma of disappointing her mother, Red feels compelled to comply, although her conscience troubles her.

In a moment of desperation, Red attempts to escape using the time-traveling pocket watch crafted by her mentor, Maddox Hatter, portrayed by Leonardo Nam. Unfortunately, she is intercepted by Chloe, Cinderella’s daughter, who is furious about the planned execution. Together, they embark on a time-traveling adventure, reluctantly uniting despite their differences.

Their journey leads them to Merlin Academy, where they encounter the teenage versions of their mothers: Bridget, represented by Ruby Rose Turner, and Ella, played by Morgan Dudley. As the two girls forge a bond with their younger selves, they confront a vicious gang of bullies led by Uliana, the sister of Ursula. In a humorous turn of events, Uliana consumes Bridget’s enchanted flamingo cupcakes, resulting in her transformation into a flamingo.

Hilarity ensues as Uliana, now humiliated, pursues Bridget, Ella, Red, and Chloe around the school grounds. However, her misfortune is short-lived; after an unfortunate tumble into a fountain, the spell is broken. Vowing to get back at them, Uliana storms off, leaving Red and Chloe to realize that an impending prank could morph Bridget into the infamous Queen of Hearts known to Red.

Determined to avert disaster, they hurry back to the present where they find the Queen of Hearts transformed into a much friendlier figure. However, they quickly learn that tampering with time carries its own perils, and the stability of the time-space continuum hangs by a thread. This exhilarating tale is far from over…
