Ken Foree, born on February 29, 1948, is an American actor famously acknowledged for his role the protagonist Peter in the horror movie 'Dawn of the Dead' (1978) and also as Roger Rockmore in the Nickelodeon television sitcom Kenan & Kel. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana as the eldest out of four boys. Ken Foree began his acting career in the 1970s, garnering roles in movies such as 'The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings', 'The Wanderers', 'Dawn of the Dead', and 'Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre III'. This marked a dynamic start for his acting career. He also impressively featured in 'Knightriders', 'From Beyond', and 'The Dentist'. His talent didn't confine just to movies but also expanded to TV shows as he starred in an episode of The X-Files in 1995.

Ken Foree also starred in 'The Devil's Rejects' in 2005 as Charlie Altamont and continued in the remake of the 1978 film Halloween. In addition to his movie and television career, Foree made a cameo appearance as himself in the 2008 novel Bad Moon Rising by Jonathan Maberry. His name is synonymously quoted in the horror-comedy 'Shaun of the Dead', attesting to his iconic status in the horror genre. Showing his creative side, Ken Foree announced on his Instagram that he is currently creating a zombie horror comic called 'Descendants of the Undead'. His contribution to the horror genre is also expanded by his own horror festival known as Foree Fest, first held in the U.K in 2007, followed by the second in 2009 and the third in 2013.
