Kim Cattrall

Kim Victoria Cattrall, an American, British and Canadian actress, best known for her portrayal of Samantha Jones on HBO's Sex and the City from 1998–2004. This role received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations, winning her the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the role in feature films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010), and in a cameo for the revival series And Just Like That... (2023).

Cattrall made her film debut in Rosebud (1975) and gained prominence with roles in movies such as Porky's (1982), Police Academy (1984), and Big Trouble in Little China (1986). She is also celebrated for her theatre work, including performances in Wild Honey (Broadway, 1986), Miss Julie (McCarter Theatre, 1993), and Sweet Bird of Youth (The Old Vic, 2013). From 2014 to 2016, Cattrall starred and served as an executive producer for HBO Canada's Sensitive Skin, earning her a nomination for the Canadian Screen Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. She has continued her prolific career into the present with roles on several streaming series, including Tell Me a Story (2018–2019), Filthy Rich (2020), Queer as Folk (2022), and Glamorous (2023).
