**Masami Nagasawa** is a critically acclaimed Japanese actress, known for her prolific film career that began during her teenage years. Born on June 3, 1987, in Iwata, Shizuoka, she first embarked on her acting journey at the age of twelve, starring as a young psychic orphan in the science fiction film Pyrokinesis (2000). Throughout her career, she has taken on varied and challenging roles, notably as one of the Shobijin in Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003) and Godzilla: Final Wars (2004). A significant turning point came with her role in Crying Out Love in the Center of the World (2004), earning her the Blue Ribbon Award for Best Supporting Actress and two Japan Academy Film Prize awards.
