Ned Dennehy is an accomplished Irish actor with numerous outstanding performances in films and television to his credit. Born on 8th December 1965, Dennehy began his acting journey with the role of Mider in 'The Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog' which gave him a notable visibility. His range and versatility found expression in a gamut of roles across different genres, highlighted in his performances in 'Blitz' and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1'. He even wowed audiences with his act in the independent British feature film 'Downhill'. An actor of significant caliber, his work in the television industry must not be overlooked. He is known for his roles in TV shows like RTÉ's 'Damo and Ivor', 'Glitch', as well as the BBC dramas 'Parade's End', 'Luther', 'Banished', and 'Dickensian'. His portrayal of Charlie Strong in 'Peaky Blinders' furthered his repertoire, and in 2017 he worked in major TV productions Versailles and Broken. His superbly brought to life the character of Irish Pat in TG4's 'An Klondike', which landed him an IFTA Award. Interestingly, he also played the character of Hastur in 'Good Omens'.
