Odeya Rush

**Odeya Rushinek** (born 12 May 1997), known professionally as **Odeya Rush**, is an Israeli actress. From her early childhood in Haifa, Israel, she demonstrated a flair for performance, writing, and performing plays as an eight-year-old. At nine, her family relocated to the United States for her father's work as a security consultant. Despite knowing only Hebrew upon arrival, Rush swiftly embraced her new surroundings and began her education in the United States, initially in Alabama and later, New Jersey. In 2013, Rush moved to Los Angeles along with her family. She has four younger brothers_ two sets of twins residing with their parents in Los Angeles_ and two older paternal half-brothers in Israel. In 2018, Rush became a US citizen. Before moving into acting, Rush started her career as a model, appearing in campaigns for major brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, and H&M. She made her acting debut in 2010, and has since been known for her roles in renowned films such as 'The Giver' (2014), 'Goosebumps' (2015), and 'Lady Bird', (2017). Her performance in 'Lady Bird' alongside the rest of the cast garnered numerous award nominations, including multiple Academy Award nods.
