Paddy Considine

Patrick George Considine (born 5 September 1973) is an English actor, director, screenwriter and musician. He is known for playing antiheroes in independent films. Considine has received numerous accolades including two British Academy Film Awards, three Evening Standard British Film Awards, and a Silver Lion for Best Short Film at the 2007 Venice Film Festival. His first major on-screen appearance was in his first collaboration with filmmaker/director Shane Meadows in A Room for Romeo Brass (1999). Over the years, Considine has taken on a variety of roles in critically acclaimed films and television series such as Doctor Sleep, 24 Hour Party People, My Summer of Love, and Peaky Blinders. Additionally, he has made significant contributions to the stage, earning Olivier Awards and Tony Award nominations. Considine was born and raised in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, and he maintains strong connections to his hometown. In addition to his acting career, Considine is a musician and was a drummer for the band 'She Talks To Angels' and forms half of the band 'Riding the Low'. He is also a screenwriter and director, winning a BAFTA Award for his short film Dog Altogether which he later adapted into the feature film Tyrannosaur.
