Samara Weaving, born 23 February 1992, is an Australian actress and model who gained prominence for her work in Australian television. Notably, she appeared on the series Out of the Blue (2008) and received an AACTA Award nomination for portraying Indi Walker on the soap opera Home and Away (2009–2013). She earned a recurring role in the first season of the series Ash vs Evil Dead (2015). Further advancing her career, Weaving starred in the horror films Mayhem and The Babysitter, and received ensemble awards for the drama film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Ready or Not (2019), a dark comedy horror film, significantly increased her recognition, positioning her as a scream queen. Other notable roles include the sci-fi film Bill & Ted Face the Music, the horror comedy The Babysitter: Killer Queen (both 2020), the slasher film Scream VI (2023), and the action horror film Azrael (2024). Samara Weaving completed her screen debut at 14, having starred as Kirsten Mulroney in the Australian soap opera Out of the Blue, and later transitioned to play Indigo "Indi" Walker in the Australian soap opera Home and Away. She also commenced modelling for Australian underwear brand Bonds in 2012 and was cast in the comedy horror series Ash vs Evil Dead in 2015.
