Skyler Augustus Gisondo, born on July 22, 1996, is an American actor recognized for his roles in popular films and television programs such as 'Licorice Pizza', 'Booksmart', 'Vacation', 'The Righteous Gemstones', and 'Santa Clarita Diet'. He was born to parents, Stacey and Ron, both ocean engineers, in Palm Beach County, Florida with a mixed heritage of Italian-American and Jewish ancestry. After initiating his acting career, he was homeschooled and spent significant time involved in the Jewish community, participating in USY and attending Camp Alonim in Simi Valley.

Skyler started his acting journey on television at just six years old, kick-starting his career with a Pizza Hut commercial. His acting career took off in 2003, with his role as Jeffrey in the TV series 'Miss Match'. In his early career, he voiced the character B-Dawg in 'Air Buddies' and was a part of the sitcom, 'The Bill Engvall Show'. His fame grew when he was featured in the popular 'Spiderman' movies and the successful film 'Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb'. He also stars in the comedy horror series 'Santa Clarita Diet' and the black comedy crime series 'The Righteous Gemstones'. In 2023, he was cast as Jimmy Olsen in 'Superman (2025)'.
