Sullivan Stapleton, born on 14 June 1977, is a renowned Australian actor. He gained popularity for his multiple roles in the television series The Secret Life of Us, Strike Back and Animal Kingdom, and for starring in the NBC crime drama Blindspot. In addition to his remarkable television work, Stapleton played the influential lead role of Greek leader Themistocles in the film 300: Rise of an Empire in 2014. His extraordinary performance in this film got him recognized and he was honoured with a Breakthrough Award in 2013 at an exclusive Australians in Film Benefit Dinner held in Los Angeles. Born in Melbourne, Victoria, he expressed interest in acting when he was only eight years old.
