Toby Kebbell

Tobias Alistair Patrick Kebbell, known as **Toby Kebbell**, is an English actor well-known for his roles in films such as _Dead Man's Shoes (2004)_, _Control (2007)_, _RocknRolla (2008)_, _Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010)_, _War Horse (2011)_, _Wrath of the Titans (2012)_, _Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014)_, _Fantastic Four (2015)_, _Warcraft (2016)_, _A Monster Calls (2016)_, _Ben-Hur (2016)_, and _Gold (2016)_. Notably, he has worked in the _Black Mirror_ episode _'The Entire History of You' (2011)_ and starred in the second film of the _MonsterVerse film series_, _Kong: Skull Island (2017)_, and the _Apple TV+_ series _Servant (2019–2023)_ and _For All Mankind (2023–2024)_. Kebbell, the fourth of five children, was brought up by his mother, Michelle, a cook and landscape gardener, and his father, Robert Kebbell, an engineer from Zimbabwe. He was raised Catholic and attended The Grove School in Balderton. He honed his acting skills at the Central Junior Television Workshop in Nottingham before venturing into the film industry. He started his acting career with _Dead Man's Shoes_ where he portrayed Anthony, a young man with a learning difficulty. His performance won critical acclaim and he was nominated for Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards 2004. Kebbell's exceptional acting skills have earned him nominations and awards from various prestigious organizations.
