Tom Felton

Born on September 22, 1987, Tom Felton is an English actor and musician, best known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the film adaptations of the Harry Potter fantasy novels by J. K. Rowling. His acting career initiated with his appearance in commercials and his debut in the movie The Borrowers (1997) as Peagreen Clock. He also played Louis T. Leonowens in Anna and the King (1999) before being cast as the iconic character Draco Malfoy, beginning with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) and concluding with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011). He was also featured in the sci-fi film Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), and indie films From the Rough (2011) and The Apparition (2012). Felton was a series regular on the 2018 sci-fi series Origin and portrayed Laertes in Claire McCarthy's Ophelia (2018). Both projects received critical praise. During his career, he has worked on numerous projects showcasing his diverse acting skills, ranging from historical dramas to family horrors, such as A Babysitter's Guide to Monster Hunting (2020).

Felton is from Epsom, Surrey, the youngest of four sons born to Peter Felton and Sharon Anstey. He developed a keen interest in singing during his childhood and joined school choirs later even securing a place in the Guildford Cathedral Choir. His acting journey began with commercials and then he landed his debut film role in The Borrowers (1997). He also lent his voice to the television series Bugs in 1998. He then starred as Thomas Ingham in Second Sight (1999) and portrayed Louis T. Leonowens in the film Anna and the King (1999), casting opposite Jodie Foster. He is also passionate about music and has released several songs on iTunes under his account 'Feltbeats'. He possesses an affinity for singing and has uploaded music videos of his original songs on YouTube.
