Josh Gordon

Joshua Caleb Gordon, born April 13, 1991, is an American former professional football wide receiver known by his nickname 'Flash'. He played for the Baylor Bears during his college years and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2012 NFL Supplemental draft. Gordon's talent garnered attention on-field, but he also encountered suspensions due to violations of the NFL's substance abuse policy. His breakout season was in 2013, where he led the league in receiving yards and earned Pro Bowl and first-team All-Pro honors. Despite his success, Gordon encountered substance abuse suspensions which limited his games with the Browns. During the following years, he shifted between various teams including the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, and Tennessee Titans. After facing further substance abuse violations leading to suspension in 2020, he returned in 2021 with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans. He later joined the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL for one season in 2023. Outside football, Gordon was born in Houston, Texas, to Elaine and Herald Gordon and is of Haitian descent. He attended Lamar High School in Houston, where his athletic career began, playing football, basketball, and track.
