**Sofia Carmina Coppola**, born May 14, 1971, is a renowned American filmmaker and a former actress. She has received significant recognition, including an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Golden Lion, and a Cannes Film Festival Award. She has also been nominated for three BAFTA Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award. Sofia made her acting foray as an infant in her father's much-acclaimed crime drama *The Godfather* (1972). Apart from acting in several music videos and films like *The Virgin Suicides* (1999), she was also actively noticed in the fantasy comedy film *Peggy Sue Got Married* (1986). **Coppola's filmmaking journey** started with her full-length directorial debut in a coming-of-age drama *The Virgin Suicides* (1999). Her films often explore themes such as loneliness, wealth, privilege, isolation, youth, femininity, and adolescence in America.
