MAGGIE RUSSELL, portrayed by Malin Åkerman, is a celebrated American actress in her early 40s, living a seemingly idyllic life with her loving husband, CHRISTOPHER, played by Jack Donnelly, a fashionable British film director. As a single father raising his 4-year-old son, DANIEL, played by Alec James, Sam not only captivates Maggie with his culinary prowess but also introduces her to the beauty of island life, sharing his dedication to organic farming and local produce.
